A product that is not harmful to humans. The level of toxicity always depends on the dose and on the individual; for example, a glass of water is safe, a tidal wave is not. In addition, while a healthy body can easily process and eliminate different chemicals/toxins from their bodies, many health conditions may impede this natural ability, resulting in toxic buildup. This can potentially further exacerbate the effect of the toxin on the body. Fragrance in cosmetics is sometimes used as a loophole to hide toxic ingredients.
We believe toxicity is dose dependent, therefore we choose ingredients with low toxicity concern when possible to reduce overall burden on the body and the environment.

What does semi-synthetic mean to I-N?

What is the negative perception of chemically based Retin A?
Sometimes they can be toxic and actually age skin in the long run by over thinning, stressing and over drying. In addition Retin A often contain warnings such as:

What if I have never used a retinol product before? How often do I use the Time Traveler Serum?
This is an active product and you may experience redness or tingling. We recommend that you conduct a patch test and build up to twice daily application to maximize results.
